The window has been open for over three weeks now and yet still no sign of any big name signings, save of course for on loan Henrik Larsson who's been proving his worth, at least in the FA cup at any rate.
Everyone is hoping that United will prize away Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich, and many like me believe his arrival could turn United's silverware ambitions into hard booty. Apparently we shall find out on Thursday if the Reds latest bid has been successful, the player confirmed that United had made an official approach for him earlier this week.
Another star in the news is United's Giuseppe Rossi according to the latest reports Milan, Juventus, Roma and Internazionale are all interested in signing him. Rossi is currently on loan at another Italian club Parma and he scored to help them win against Torino at the weekend. Rumours are claiming that Giuseppe's parents want him to quit England... watch this space on that one.
I will of course be keeping any eye on transfer developments for the next few days hoping that United make at least one more big signing before the window closes.
