Why Mourinho's no spend talk must be a red herring..

Jose Mourinho has said that he doesn't need to spend big this summer, because his squad is good enough, providing Chelsea do not get any serious injuries. Who can argue with Mourinho, his record as manager is nothing short of sensational and being a Red, I have no problem with this thinking... But surely, Chelsea have problems in defence, as they haven't replaced William Gallas? John Terry and Carvalho have picked up several injuries this season and when either is missing they look vunerable at the back. On top of this Chelsea have five players away next January whent the African Nations Cup is being played. So I for one will be amazed if they do not sign another couple of players before the transfer the window closes.Full story
