Football Trivia: Match of the Day question.

What was the name of the first player to kick the ball on the very first Match of the Day programme? Here's a clue. The player concerned has been in the news a lot recently.

    Go to the top of the class. Amazingly, yes it is.
    It was Liverpool v Arsenal.
    There's going to be a lot of quiz questions coming up over the next few weeks....
