Media reports claim that the Reds could be looking to offer young defender Gerard Pique in a swap deal with Barcelona for former Chelsea and Bolton striker Eidur Gudjohnsen. Ex-Nou Camp youngster Pique spent last season on loan at Real Zaragoza who could be about to make an improved offer after their initial £7m bid was rejected.
Gudjohnsen is an intelligent player and he's very skillful too, if the deal comes off it will be a good move for United.
I disagree to some extent. Whilst Gudjohnsen is a good player, Pique by all accounts is a potential future 1st teamer for many years. How old is Gudjohnsen?
