Trouble in the court of King Roman.....

Reports have been suggesting that Shevchenko has recommended his old AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti as a possible replacement for Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, this sort of rumour unchecked will do nothing to pour cold water on the flames which are currently lapping up Jose's trouser leg. AC Milan have denied the story, but what do they know about this? When someone is being tapped up, the club in question are often the last to find out...

Further to this in a separate report in the Times, it was claimed that Mourinho's influence on the playing front isn't what you may expect and that Roman Abramovich exerts a fair degree of pressure on which players to buy via his own contacts within the game and that the Oligarch hasn't been over impressed by Jose's recent acquisitions.

John Terry has stated that if needs be the players will support their manager by trying to broker a peace deal at the club, time will tell if that is successful or not, but right now it isn't looking good.
